Code Pads Access Control

A garage door opener keypad is an electronic device that is meant to open an automatic garage door. The keypad often contains a code that must be entered in the exact order in order to active the automatic garage door opener. The keypad is just one of the security features offered on many standard garage door packages.

A garage door keypad found on the outside of the door allows you to use a code to automatically open your garage door. The two types of garage door keypads are wired and wireless.

The outside garage door keypad, inside push button wall unit, and the door opener are all integral to the garage door keypad system.
